Sam Lawrence RVN PgDip VetPhys CertVNECC

I am Sam, I am a Veterinary Physiotherapist and Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) living and working in Surrey.

Having had a love of animals my whole life, I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2013 and since then have had a varied nursing career working in private practice, orthopedic referral, charity medicine, and even with wildlife. Before continuing to study and qualifying to be a Veterinary Physiotherapist (2021).

I am lucky enough to have worked with a varied species of animals all across the globe, from Eastern Europe to South Africa and even across Asia.

Now I work as the lead of Surrey Veterinary Physio rehabilitating the animals of Surrey.

I adore all areas of Veterinary Physiotherapy and have a particular interest in Osteoarthritis management and the link between behaviour and pain.

I love the bonds I build with the animals I treat as well as being able to be additional support for their carers.

I believe in a multimodal approach to your pet’s care as well as a team approach, ensuring full communication with your Vets (and the rest of your pet’s team)

I am accredited as a Animal Physiotherapist with IAAT as well as being fully insured. I am registered as a Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

I am pleased to be a finalist in the ‘Animal Therapist of the Year’ in the Animal Star Awards 2023. Nominations are received from members of the public with the final shortlist chosen by a panel of industry Judges.
